Norfolk Slop in Sailcloth

People have been asking us for ages about our own hand-me-down smocks that have been in the family for decades and have developed beautiful patinas, wanting to have one of their very own. We looked at various ways of pre-aging or own cotton twill but save for years of use and love in sun and rain, we couldn't find a way of finding the right look and feel we wanted without their being a negative environmental effect. Undeterred we decided to leave no stone unturned in pursuit of the perfect cloth that would give a vintage, used feel and after a prolonged search we found this incredible sailcloth. Beautifully finished and as robust as our cotton twill this sailcloth due to the way the cotton fibres are woven will give a vintage or heirloom feel sooner. It doesn't hurt that the colour is just so for that classic, aged feel. Made, of course, in the UK.

Sizing is generous. Wash at 30 degrees.
